Did You Know......Termination of Employees

The notice requirements for terminating an employee are determined not only by the express terms of the employment contract, but also by statutes and common law.  Before terminating an employee, legal advice should be sought so as to ensure that the condominium corporation complies with the law and does not inadvertently invite a wrongful dismissal claim by a disgruntled former employee.
