"My passion lies with educating and protecting my clients. A client’s involvement is pertinent to a successful resolution. Together, we work towards the most effective and efficient results."
The key to Kristina’s success as a legal advisor is being, in equal part, a collaborator. This involves first listening to her clients to find out all that she can about their situation then taking them through potential outcomes so that they can make informed decisions together. Meticulous by nature, Kristina enjoys combing through details surrounding her clients’ issues to arrive at effective, balanced solutions.
As an Associate at Fine & Deo, Kristina advises clients with respect to condominium law, reviews contracts, and represents clients in court, including appeals. Approachable and understanding, Kristina’s clients can feel comfortable discussing their legal issues with her and rest assured that she will work to get the best results for them.
Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Kristina articled at an environmental law firm where she was exposed to similar issues such as zoning bylaws and working with client groups. She enjoys the mix of corporate and civil law and the wide variety of work that condominium law offers.
Kristina received her law degree at the University of Sussex, U.K. and her undergraduate degree at York University. She is a member of the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI). Kristina is fluent in French and Russian. She enjoys being outdoors and travelling. Her most recent trips include Nicaragua and Egypt.
